Hi I'm Amanda

I'm fun-loving and outgoing. Im a cosmetology and high school student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently moved from Colorado, where I grew up. It was hard for me to leave all of my close friends and family behind, but the move opened up a new window for me, attending cosmetology school. I now attend high school at the same time that I am a senior in high school. Busy, Busy! so I am just trying to live my life to the fullest, surround myself with good people and friends, and make good decisions so that I can be happy and successful later in life, all 4 of which aren't too easy when you are in high school!

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of the Church gives me purpose. I have known many friends, teachers, and other people that truly believe that there is nothing after this life, and I think that is such a sad point of view. Knowing that my family can live together and be united as one for the rest of all eternity gives me something so strive towards.

How I live my faith

I am a member of the Compassionate Service Committee in my singles ward. My role is to be aware of everyone in the ward's needs and to help and serve in any way possible. It has been a wonderful experience for me to serve others, and I find that the easiest way to be aware of someones needs, is to be their friend. I love my calling because it allows me to be friends with everyone in the ward!
