Hi I'm Margaret

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, a mother, a sister and a daughter. I love my family and my greatest joy is being with them. I grew up just outside Salt Lake City, but currently live in rainy but beautiful Washington state with my two young daughters and husband. I am a graduate of BYU. I worked for 7 years after graduating, mostly with troubled youth and have been lucky enough to stay home since having my first child. I enjoy cooking, reading, music and travel and try to spend time cultivating my love for these things. I love all things British.

Why I am a Mormon

Both my parents are members of the church and therefore I was raised LDS. I definitely came to a point where I knew I needed to decide for myself if I really wanted to live my life as a member of the church, or not. Through personal experiences and diligent searching, I found my testimony of the gospel. I believe that Jesus is the living Christ and that he is our Savior. I believe in the atonement and it's healing power. I believe that Heavenly Father is omnipotent and loves and cares for all his children and is always aware of them and their circumstances. I believe that Joseph Smith saw and spoke with God and Jesus Christ and was instructed to restore the gospel to the earth. I believe that we have been blessed with a modern day prophet, just as in ancient times. I believe that the Book of Mormon is true, correct and testifies of Jesus Christ. I know that as you read, study and ponder the words of the Book of Mormon the Holy Ghost will let you know of its truth and power.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church, serving in callings, having personal and family scripture study and prayer. I find that, for me, living my faith is a lifelong learning process that grows and develops as life progresses. I feel very blessed to currently serve with the children in my ward and am lucky to share my testimony through music with them.
