Hi I'm Jordan

Im a college student, I love sports with all my heart and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a family of five and am the middle child. All of my family loves sports and athletics is how my family comes together. I'm am a new freshman at the local university and im loving college and the young adult life. In my spare time I love to run or play sports with my dad or siblings. I have one sister just older then me and I consider her my best friend. She is currently serving in the Dominican Republic and I'm so happy that she has the opportunity to dedicated two years of her life to the lord. I love people even though I'm not enormously outgoing. I also have a zest for life that keep my striving to be my best, not just in the gospel but as a person in everyday life.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I was born into this gospel and consider that my greatest blessing. People always say that don't know where they would be without the gospel and that saying runs strong for me. Knowing who I am and where I came from is my source of confidence in the world. I didn't always have a strong testimony of the gospel and i must admit that like many people my testimony weakens sometimes but i will never be able to deny the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. At this point in my life i rely on the lord for everything. I know he knows me well and knows the intents and deepest desires of my heart. A relationship with God has helped me look past the details of this earth and has helped me gain an eternal perspective. I know that life's quest is to strive towards perfect and that after we die, perfection, remains the goal. I love my savior. I love my family and their testimony acts as a foundation to my own. The biggest reason for why i will always be a member or this church and will continue to pattern my own life off the savior is because I know his gospel is the only way to true happiness. I'm happy when I'm actively striving to be better. I'm happy when I'm obedient. And I'm happy in general because I know who I am, a daughter of God and member of his church. I'm happy because I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by example. The spirit has always helped me feel that my example will be my largest contribution towards people wanting to know more about the church. I previously served on a youth committee at church who's efforts were to the strength all kids in the area, Mormon and non-Mormon alike. I have just transitioned to a singles ward for young adults and I have yet to receive a calling but look forward to more participation in the church.
