Hi I'm Deana

I grew up in Colorado and moved to Idaho as a young divorced mother where I rebuilt my life and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I’m a wife, an empty nester of a son and I have 3 grandchildren. I’m a real estate manager by trade but my passion is quilting, needle arts, and being with my husband of 24 years. I have been a Boy Scout volunteer for 21 years and enjoy helping in community service.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a child of a split home I was exposed to many religions and a belief in Jesus Christ through the teachings in the Bible. My questions as to “where I came from“, “what is my purpose” and “where am I going” were never answered completely. When I moved to Idaho with my son after a divorce I met the man who was to be my eternal husband and companion. His mother introduced me to the missionaries. The answers were before me in the Book of Mormon and more were answered by studying the Doctrine and Covenants. After learning about the authority of the Priesthood I was ready to be baptized with that authority. As I became faithful to church principals the Lord has poured out an abundance of blessings and talents on me. The Lord answers my prayers and gives me inspiration in my daily life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through church and community service I give. I share the talents the Lord has bestowed on me by teaching others and making quilts and other sewn items for humanitarian needs. I attend the temple with my husband weekly and support him in his church duties.
