Hi I'm Justin

I am a German board game enthusiast. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I collect and play German board games as a hobby. I am also into emergency preparedness and enjoy out door grilling and cooking with a solar oven. I am a licensed HAM radio operator, not only do I enjoy taking with other people over the radio I also enjoy the emergency preparedness aspect of it as well. I have a career in Information Technology and do all things computers.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was born to active parents and raised in the church I still had doubts about whether it was truly God's church or not. Shortly after the passing of my Mom I decided I couldn't risk missing out of the chance of being with her again and I decided I would live a good life but I didn't think any one specific church would matter. I also decided I would not serve as a Mormon missionary (this topic was brought up frequently). A few years later I had the opportunity to cast in the Hill Cumorah Pageant. There was such a strong and notable spirit about it, I saw many miracles and had powerful spiritual experiences. I was able to be in the cast again and I could not deny the spirit I felt and the miracles I witnessed. I decided to pray and ask God and instantly received an overwhelming response. I knew then that I was a part of Christs church and his work. I took the opportunity to serve a mission which was an amazing experience full of miracles and spiritual growth. Life still has trials and I am still growing spiritually but now I know I will be with my Mom again and I will be sealed with my wife and kids and that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have spent a lot of time working with emergency preparedness by teaching others and participating in exercises. Currently I help out with the Cub Scouts for the congregation or ward I attend.
