Hi I'm Joyce

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! My name is Joyce. I grew up in a small town in south central Utah, where I learned to appreciate the beauty of God's handiwork, from green forests to red rock formations. I loved the peaceful quiet small town living. Now I find myself living in Arizona and missing the small town! I have also enjoyed living near the ocean. Whether it be forest, red rock, desert or ocean, the one thing they all had in common, I was around family, friends, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all of which I dearly love. I have a husband, seven children and fourteen grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know of the truthfullness of the Restored Gospel on the earth today. I see the Lord's hand in all things in all aspects of my life. I know that we have a prophet on earth today whom the Lord inspires to lead his children here on earth. I do appreciate the firm foundation that my parents gave me to rely on my Savior Jesus Christ. I have come to know for myself that the church is true, and I can not deny what I know to be true.

How I live my faith

I know that Our Father in Heaven loves each of His children and helps them through the difficult times in life. Having a large family has brought us much happiness. Along with that happiness we have been faced with many trials. We have one daughter who deals with heart issues and another daughter who after 21 years is facing a second liver transplant. We have a grandson who has Williams Syndrome and a granddaughter who has won a battle with bone cancer. With these experiences and with our family being from Nevada to Georgia plus 4 yrs with a son in Iraq and Afghanistan, I have had it confirmed to me many times over that no matter what our situation in life, we are never left alone. Our Heavenly Father is always with us and watching over us to get us through. Therefore, I try to love those around me and give my love and support to those who are having trials of their own. If I can ease someone else's burden then I can feel like I am serving my Heavenly Father and returning the love that He has shown me.
