Hi I'm Jessica

I'm a student, I love to cook and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello! I'm Jessica. I'm 19 years old and have been called to serve in the Arizona, Tucson mission. Reporting to the MTC on May 27. I am so excited to be able to serve a mission. I love cooking and creating things that people enjoy. I enjoy watching movies and spending time with my family and friends. I love the thrill of riding rollercoasters. I would love to attend BYU to further my education when I return from my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the LDS church, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I am so grateful to have the gospel in my life. It has made me a better person. I know that this is the only true church! I know that Jesus Christ died for me! I love the gospel and I try my hardest to live its standards. I don't know where I would be without the church and I really don't want to find out. I love the way that I feel when I am at church, reading my scriptures, and visiting the temple.

How I live my faith

I grew up always wanting to serve a mission. But when the age for women was 21 it was always shove in the back of my mind. I kept thinking "Oh, If I'm not married" or "If I'm not in an important part of school, I will go on a mission." But all of those thoughts were changed on October morning in 2012. The prophet reveled that Men would be able to serve their missions at 18 and women would be able to serve at 19. This was my opportunity. I knew at that moment I was going to serve a mission. I was only 16 at the time and I would still have to wait three more years, But I was going on a mission. I prepared and began my papers in January and after having to have a few health issues resolved, I submitted my papers in late March. This was it only a few weeks and I would finally know where the Lord wanted me serve and spend the next 18 months of my life bring others unto Him. On April 11th, my call arrived. I was headed to Tucson, Arizona and I was leaving in 6 weeks! I am so excited to be chosen as a servant of the Lord. And to bring his children back to him.
