Hi I'm Erin

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a receptionist at an Animal Hospital, and I love working with animals! What I love to do most with my time is reading, or going to see movies with my Mom and my Sister. My family is everything to me!

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a member, I was lucky enough to be born into a LDS family. But there did come a time in my life where I had to stop relying on the testimonies of my parents and find my own. I have been able to find my own testimony through many trails and experiences. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior, I know that the Atonement is very real, I have used it in my life to seek forgiveness..But the greatest blessing of the Atonement to me is the knowledge that my Savior understands how I feel. He not only took on my sins and transgressions, but he took on my pain and heartaches. There have been so many times where I felt like giving up, sometimes things were just to hard, at those time all I would have to do is get on my knees and pray for help and I would feel the Love of my Heavenly Father and Savior there with me, to help me and give me strength. I know that I will never be alone, NEVER. He can always be with me. I know this Church and The Gospel are true because I have prayed about it, and the Spirit has told me that it is true. Joseph Smith was an amazing man, and a Prophet of God. In April 1820 he really did see Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father, they spoke with him and he listened to them, I will be forever thankful for his courage and his willingness to serve them. It is because of his courage that we have fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ on earth today! I know that He translated the Book of Mormon, and that the Book of Mormon is another Testament of Jesus Christ. My testimony means everything to me. It has helped me and strengthened me, given me hope when the world seemed so dark, has helped me make sense of the bad things that sometimes happen in the world. It is a great blessing!

How I live my faith

I teach Sunbeams(ages 3-4) in Primary, and they are a huge blessing to me! I am not married and have no kids. They are a joy in my life, and are helping to prepare me for when I have my own Kids! I try to live my faith by being kind to those I meet and by living the Doctrines that are taught to me when I go to Church. I don't live a flashy life, I live a normal life and I go about daily doing the best I can.

What blessings can you receive from reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures?

Erin
I know as I have read the Scriptures I have received answers to many questions I have had. I have received the strength to live a more righteous life, and I have grown closer to My savior and Heavenly Father by coming to know who they are through the many stories and experiences given in the Scriptures.
