Hi I'm Teah

I am a mother and wife. I love the outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small little town and am the oldest of five. My parents taught us the importance of family and because of this I cherish the relationship that I have with my siblings today. I was able to work hard and put myself through college. I earned a bachelor's degree in finance. I had the opportunity to serve a mission in Peru. I love running and exercising. I enjoy setting goals and working hard to reach them. I love being outdoors and enjoying nature. I am the proud mother of a beautiful little girl and have the perfect husband.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church. I was taught by both of my parents the importance of Gospel of Jesus Christ in a person's life. But I think like all people, I came to an age where I had to find out for myself if this was something that I believed and wanted to devote myself to. My answer did not come all at once. It was a very gradual process. I kept doing what I had been taught and little by little my testimony grew and was strengthened. There have been people that have come into my life, who I know were sent by my Heavenly Father to help me along the path. They have been wonderful examples to me and have helped me to see the many blessings that come as a faithful disciple of Christ. My mission experience was definitely a solidifying experience for me. It was amazing to see the happy changes in peoples' lives by embracing the Gospel. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live and love each one of us. I know from reading and praying that the Book of Mormon is true. It does bring happiness into a person's life. My membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is of great worth to me.

How I live my faith

I have had the wonderful opportunity to work with the youth in the church for the past few years. This has been a great blessing. I help teach lessons, plan weekly activities and many other things involving the young women. It can be so easy to get caught up in our "own" lives and forget what a blessing it is to give service. I love how the Lord knows this and gives us these opportunities to serve others. I enjoy being a part of the Visiting Teaching program where I can get to know other women in the church and develop friendships. It is in the times that we are serving, when we are not thinking of ourselves, that we can cultivate Christlike attributes.
