Hi I'm Tara

I am the youngest of six, I grew up in Nebraska, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I and the only girl and the youngest in my family of six children. I love the outdoors, and I like to rollerblade. When people ask me what sport I play I tell them my sport is music. I love to sing and am a soprano. I also enjoy reading in what little spare time I can find. Part of my life was spent on a farm the rest was in the small town of Randolph. I have been called a giant most of my life because I am tall. I am not afraid to ware hills and do quite often.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church, but that really is not a reason. I know that this church is true and that the principles taught are true also. In times when I strugle I know that I am not alone, even if it feels that way at the time. I know that my Savior gave his life for me and took my sins apon him in the garden of Gethsemane. I know he is risen and has sent prophets to guide us today. There is nothing, no problem, no situation that I have that I can not find the answers to in the scriptures that the Lord as given us to us though this life. In short, I know this church is true, I don't just believe. I know my Savior lives, and loves me. I know President Thomas S. Monson is the true prophet today that leads and guids this church. I know Joseph Smith did not go into the grove of trees looking to start a new church but was told to by a loveing Heavenly Father. I know the Book of Mormon to be another testament of Jesus Christ and the Bible to testify of Jesus Christ. And I say these things in the name of my beloved Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my life day by day like most people do. I try my best to live the teachings and principles I have been taught all my life. From the moment I get up in the morning to the moment I go to bed, I know someone will be watching me, because I am a Mormon and I am different. I did not go to the parties in High School, and I did not, and do not, hang out with people who drank or did drugs. More than once I have been shown by others that people watch me. So I try to show who I am by the way I dress, how I talk, and how I act, that I am a follower of Jesus Christ.
