Hi I'm Ben Johnson

I'm now a 19 year old missionary serving in Germany for my mission

About Me

I'm a missionary in the Frankfurt, Germany mission and will return to BYU for my degree in Chemical Engineering. I'm a rock climber, I love running, I love playing piano, and I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon because I believe in His work and I can feel and see His work all around us. Even through out all of the different, posibly very difficult and hard things in life, you can still see our Heavenly Father's hand in everything. When I read the Book of Mormon and the Bible, I can feel his spirit touch me and help me to understand why the writers of these sacred books wrote what they wrote and why some things aren't included or why they don't coincide with science. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet, and that there are still Prophets and Apostles on the Earth today. I know that we do continue to recieve revelation from God today. I know that the Lord lives and that He will come to the Earth again and make the earth like the City of Enoch. I know these things, and say them in Christ's name, Amen.

How I live my faith

Every week on Tuesday nights, I go to the church and participate on a youth/scout group. It's awesome. We do all kinds of activities, like dodge ball, ice blocking, and making mock movies. The best part about it is that we plan it. We decide what we want to do. The adults are just the people who help make it happen, and even then we do a lot of it. I also participate in church every sunday for 3 hours, which really isn't as long as it sounds. I also participate in dances that we have every so often, which are REALLY awesome. I also go to seminary, which is sort of like church in the middle of school. It might sound like it's something that would be boring and really take it out of lunch time, but honestly, I think that seminary is a blast. You get to talk with your friends from church and meet new people.
