Hi I'm Larry

I am a father of 3 children and have been married for nearly 30 years. I live in the Seattle area. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from a family of four boys and grew up in Utah, Colorado and Oregon. My parents are both from Wyoming. I have been married for nearly 30 years and have three children, one girl and two boys. I also am happy to have a son-in-law and will soon have a new daughter-in-law. Two of my children have graduated from college and my youngest is still attending university. I love spending time with my family. We have lived in the Pacific Northwest for most of the past 35 years. I love to play golf and I like cars. I enjoy traveling with family to relaxing places.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (mormon) and have been a member all my life. I have studied the scriptures diligently for much of my life. I am a firm believer in prayer and have prayed for guidance and direction as a normal course of my daily activities. Through my study and prayer I have come to know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is found in its fullness in this faith. I know that there is a God in heaven, that his only begotten son is Jesus Christ and that he is my savior and redeemer. I believe in the Holy Spirit and that he prompts us in the things we should do and and what kind of people we should be. I believe that Jesus Christ organized his church during his ministry on the earth and that that church and his priesthood power has been restored to the Earth in these, the latter days. I am thankful for the Saviors life, teachings, example and atonement. I am grateful that he took upon himself the sins of the world that we might be able to repent and come unto him. I know God lives.

How I live my faith

I try to be the kind of person (I am even some times successful!) that the Lord would have me be. I try to keep His commandments and serve others. I have served in various capacities in our lay clergy my whole life. I enjoy helping and mentoring others and in responding to thoughts and promptings that allow me to assist those around me. I try to be honest in all my dealings and be a good example to others.
