Hi I'm Anderson

I'm an exterminator by day, an actor by night, a gamer, a musician, a computer nerd, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a Father of two amazing kids and husband to a beautiful wife. I was a business banker with a large bank, now I exterminate moles for a living. In the evenings I work with local theater companies. I sing and play seventeen musical instruments. I am an avid gamer , and I am quite proud to be the guy people come to with computer questions. I am an Eagle Scout and still espouse the standards of the scouting organization.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents joined the church before I was born. They taught me the gospel at an early age, but always told me that I needed to know for myself if the gospel was true. As I matured decided to do just that. I began to read the Book of Mormon on my own over a period of about 24 hours. Once finished I took the challenge issued near the end of the book which says "And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost" (Mor. 10:5) Having prayed I awaited an answer, and soon after received it. I now have a testimony of my own that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and the only begotten of the Father. I know God loves his children, and will answer all our prayers if we have but the courage to ask.

How I live my faith

I endeavor to live my life in service to my fellow man. I do so both within the church, in my own family, and with those in my community. Currently I work with the children under the age of three in my congregation. I also sing in the church choir. I have been a scout leader, and a teacher. At home I know my wife appreciates when I take time to cook or clean. My kids love to use me as a play structure, and delight in playing games with daddy. I also work with a number of local community theaters. I am on my fourth production in 9 months. More than that I look for any opportunity to do something for others, whether it is something simple, like a smile and cheery conversation to brighten a passing individual's day, to bigger tasks like helping to move large furniture, changing a flat tire, or fixing a computer. I find that there is joy in my life as I bring joy to others.
