Hi I'm Cameron

I'm a student of healthcare administration. I'm a husband. I'm a tennis-lover, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to solve complex problems. Since healthcare seems to have so many of these I decided to make a career out of it. I am currently going to school to obtain my master's degree in healthcare administration and will begin working in a little more than a year. I met my wife more than three years ago and we love the exciting times we have enjoyed together. We enjoy playing tennis together, watching movies, playing games, and just having fun. My wife is my best friend and the person I can always count on. I grew up playing tennis and love it to this day. Figuring out how to defeat your opponent is another one of those complex problems that I enjoy solving. I also enjoy other sports and any kind of physical activity in general. Doing things like camping, motorcycle riding, and reading are also things I enjoy.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a member of the church and have always believed it to be true. This belief, however, is something that I have had to work for. As with many faith-based things questions often arise. Whenever I would have a question about God or the church I knew that I had several places I could find answers. If I am ever uncertain about something I know that I can turn to the scriptures for help. I have a testimony that the scriptures are literally the words of prophets and can help me in times of need. I have found many answers in the pages of the scriptures. Going directly to my Heavenly Father in prayer is ultimately the best source for help and comfort. Whenever I have had questions about spiritual things I turn to Him for help. He has always answered my prayers. It may not have been when or how I had hoped, but the answer is always there. It is through prayer and scripture study that I have sustained my faith in God and His gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by making an effort to be the best that I can. The gospel brings so much joy and happiness into my life and I hope to be able to share that with others. I try to do this with a positive attitude and a smile. I also have the opportunity to work with teenagers at church. When teaching lessons to the youth I make an effort to help them realize how much God loves them and how much potential each of them has. From the ages of 19-21 I also had the opportunity to devote all of my time and energy to serving the Lord and those around me. This was one of the best experiences of my life and brought me immense joy. I learned from this experience that I am happiest when I am in the service of God and my fellow man.

Who was Joseph Smith?

Joseph Smith was a man who was called to be a prophet in these latter days. His role as a prophet was very similar to that of Moses or Abraham. Each of these men were called to lead God's people and help them understand His will. Joseph Smith restored the true principles of Christ's gospel after they had been lost and distorted for hundreds of years after the death of our Savior. Show more Show less
