Hi I'm Kevin

I'm a outside sales representative for a national/international metals distributor. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband and father. I'm an outside sales representative for a national/international metals distributor. I enjoy the outdoors, mountains, jeeping, and other fun family activities. I also enjoy listening to talk radio, and writing letters to the editor.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I grew up in the Mormon faith--both of my parents converted to the church while living in the Cincinnati, Ohio area--there came a time for me to obtain my own personal testimony of the doctrine I had been taught throughout my life. This happened while I was attending a seminary class as a sophomore in high school. I decided that I would do as Joseph Smith (founder of the Mormon church) did, that is, pray to God to know the truth concerning religious matters. Before retiring to bed one night, I knelt at my bedside and asked my Heavenly Father, if Joseph Smith was a true prophet and if the Book of Mormon I was reading was a true book. I really wanted to know for myself the truth about these matters. After a few nights of humble and sincere prayer, and while I was attending my seminary class I experienced a profound witness from the Holy Ghost that Joseph Smith was indeed a true prophet of God, that he translated the Book of Mormon by the power of God, and that he was an instrument of God in restoring the Gospel and Church of Jesus Christ back to the earth that was lost shortly after the death of the original twelve apostles.

How I live my faith

Because my prayers were answered, I continue to serve in the Church, live its teachings to the best of my ability, and witness to others of its truthfulness. That is why I am a Mormon.
