Hi I'm Tammy

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of five. I have 8 grand children and 5 great grand children. I love doing crafts and scrap booking. I enjoy camping with my family and love cooking in dutch ovens. I love to go to the beach and on family vacations. I am an office manager for a Podiatrist and I also do the insurance and work the front desk.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the Mormon church. I was born to parents who were already members of the church. At one point in my life I had to know for myself that this was the true church. Through fasting and praying and reading the scriptures; I learned the truthfulness of this gospel. There will never be any doubt in my mind that God lives and Jesus Christ is his son and that this is the true church. I love the importance that this church teaches us about families. Families are the most important part of our lives. Jesus Christ showed us his pure love of others and as a parent it is my job to teach my children of his pure love. I love the friendships and the way our members look out for each other. They are there for you and you can feel their love. You are never alone when you have God and Jesus Christ and your ward families in your life. This church teaches us morals and values that are so important to help us progress in our lives. I love that my family can be together forever. It gives me everything that I need to be a better person so that I can live with my Father in Heaven once again.

How I live my faith

I work in our ward library helping the teachers to get the things they need for their classes that they teach. I have taught the children in Primary and I have been in the Young Women's Presidency. The callings that I have held has helped me to be a better person and to learn and to grow spiritually. There are two women from my ward that come and visit with me each month to make sure that I am alright. They are there to help me if I am blue or if I am sick they are there to make sure that I am alright. They have brought in meals to my family after I had to have surgery and they bring me a spiritual and uplifting message when they visit me. They are truly my friends.
