Hi I'm Todd

I'm a husband, father, engineer, and wannabe triathlete. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in upstate New York but had a wonderful childhood growing up in the southeastern US. There are no better people around. I moved west for college and fell in love with a beautiful southern California girl. From there, I didn't care where I lived! We married and after graduate school ended up in the desert southwest. 4 kids and 20 years later, we call Gilbert, Arizona our home. I work for a large IT company doing engineering and environmental work. I love the outdoors and active lifestyle that year round sunshine brings. I'm a very amateur triathlete, but have fun trying to preserve my youth!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon by birth but an active member by choice. Being a Mormon is not a Sunday religion, but a genuine lifestyle that has brought happiness and purpose to my life. Building my life on the foundation of Jesus Christ has given me a roadmap to follow that provides direction and stability for my home, family and daily endeavors. In a world where happiness and recognition can often be superficial, I've found the gospel of Jesus Christ to be a path along which I can charter my life and find true happiness.

How I live my faith

I attempt to live my faith starting in my home and family. This said, I have much to learn. Just ask my wife :). Fundamental to my faith is trying to follow the example of our Savior Jesus Christ. I often fall short, but working toward this end goal provides me with clear direction. A significant part of this journey is service. I'm active in supporting, coaching and mentoring children and youth in activities that encompass sports, community and church. I enjoy helping young people grow their confidence and abilities and to accomplish things for the first time. I had many who provided this support to me growing up. It's time to give back.
