Hi I'm Jason

I grew up in a small farming town. I have a small family with a wonderful wife and two children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a very active husband and father of two. My children provide my life with the little twists and turns that make each day enjoyable. This doesn't come without a great responsibility to help nurture them along side my wife. She is a great wife and mother. I am an entrepreneur with great goals and dreams. I come from a long line of hard working people including teachers, farmers, ranchers, industry workers, and entrepreneurs. After working hard to provide a living for my family I enjoy seeing the beautiful area that we live in. I am a hunter and a conservationalist. The outdoors remind me of the grandeur of our Heavenly Father and his love for us. If I could do anything I would see as much of this great Earth as I can together with those who mean the most to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon for very simple reasons. God loves us. He sent his Son, Jesus Christ, to die for us in order to provide our way back to our Heavenly Father. God is unchanging, immovable. His ways do not fluctuate with the popular whims of the day. He does not change his expectations for us based on what the popular views of the world say. His truth hasn't changed from the beginning of this world. His expectations of us were given perfectly by the Savior in Matthew 5:48. "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which art in Heaven is perfect." As an example for us to follow in all things, God provided a Savior, Jesus Christ. The Savior provided not only the example, but knowing that none of us would live up to this expectation, provided a way for us to be cleansed of our wrongdoings, shortcomings, or sins. He bled and died for us. This sacrifice not only satisfies the laws of justice by providing much needed mercy, but The Savior also felt our pains, afflictions, sicknesses, and sadness. This makes Him our perfect advocate with the Father. He knows perfectly what each of us goes through in this challenging life. He is indeed our best friend. I have faith in Jesus Christ. I know he lives. He has provided the way for us to lay claim to his mercy, to be cleansed of all of our shortcomings. Through Faith, Repentance, Baptism and the Gift of the Holy Ghost we can be recipients of His mercy. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior.

How I live my faith

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is a church of service, love, friendship. We are taught and commissioned to help our neighbors and truly live by the example of Jesus Christ. I have taught the youth. I spent two years living in Brazil to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I help provide service and also am the recipient of service by others. I am responsible to help watch over the well-being of a few families in my area and help them in what ever ways they need and also have those who are responsible to make sure my needs are being met. We are a network of imperfect people trying to follow a perfect example. I best live my faith by being a faithful husband and father and striving to live by the teachings of The Savior in my own home. Families are an eternal part of the plan of our Heavenly Father and my responsibility is to make sure my own family is deeply rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ.

How are the activities of the Mormon missionaries funded?

Jason
I saved money from the time I was 12 years old to be able to pay for the expenses involved with serving a mission. Not only was my mission worth every penny of sacrifice but it set my life down a path that will pay me with eternal rewards. Show more Show less
