Hi I'm Chloe

I love life, I have 3 sisters, I am a basketball player, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have three wonderful sisters, and two brother-in-laws. I love my family and friends and going on vacations. My family is most definitely a basketball family. I have been playing ever since I was born, maybe even in womb. My sisters set the bar high for me, so that I would be able to make Varsity as a freshman like they did. I’m so grateful for basketball in my life, because it has taught me how to work hard and how to work as a team. I also love getting involved with activities and sports at the school. During our school’s homecoming I play on the Powder Puff team. Powder Puff is girls flag football. It’s a blast because my team is always extremely competitive. I am also very involved with student council. My favorite event we plan is Wish Week. It is a week centered on a child that our school chooses to sponsor from the Make-A-Wish foundation. Last year our school broke the national record by raising 40,000 dollars, which granted not only our kid's wish, but also an additional eight kids' wishes. That week is one of the most spiritually moving weeks at our school, and it’s amazing to see everyone come together for a good cause. My parents always told me that when you serve others you serve God. I am, without a doubt, the happiest when I am serving others. Anyways... here is a little glimpse of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were both born with the gospel taught in their homes, and then they decided to raise their own kids in the gospel. I'm not sure, but I think that I am a fifth or sixth generation Mormon. But I'm not a Mormon because of my parents and ancestors... I am a Mormon, because I have prayed and felt in my heart that there is a God and He loves me, and I do have a brother that is my Savior and He died for all who have lived and will live on the earth. I am a Mormon... because the Holy Spirit has testified to me that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God (just like Moses, Noah, and Abraham of the Old Testament). The spirit also testified to me that Thomas S. Monson is a true prophet today. I am a Mormon... because I have read the Book of Mormon and felt with all my soul that it is a real and true book and I can not deny it. I am so grateful for the blessings that I receive on a daily basis because of my faith and knowledge of the gospel. I know without a doubt that God is in the details of each of our lives. I am a Mormon, because of my simple testimony and I am proud and forever grateful to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

How I live my faith is simple... I just try my best everyday to follow the Lord's commandments and try to mirror my life after Him. It's never perfect, but if I try to become better everyday and repent for my mistakes, I receive all the blessings which the Lord has promised me. What more could I ask for.
