Hi I'm Sommer

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Previously, I was a student, a musician, and a writer. But these days, I spend most of my time changing diapers and kissing "owies". I still love to sing and play the piano when I get the chance, but I devote most of my time to my family by trying to be the best wife and mother that I can be. I love to read and watch movies, but my favorite thing in the world to do is to talk to people. My mother often called me a "social butterfly", but I think I just have the gift of gab.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were converts, so I'm a Mormon largely due to their amazing example and desire for me to have a testimony of Jesus Christ. Like many others, I was baptized when I was 8, but my testimony of the gospel has come gradually. It was during my college years that my Faith in the Gospel was solidified. Over and over, the power of the Atonement and the mercy of the Savior was manifested to me in ways so personal that I knew that the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was and is the only true church on the face of the earth. I know that the Savior died for me and for everyone and that He raised himself from the dead, and because of His glorious Resurrection, if I am worthy I can some day be resurrected, too and live with Him forever. It is because of this desire to be with him that I am a Mormon, that I am a mother, that I am free.

How I live my faith

I am a leader over the sweet children of the church. It is here that I see the sweetest and most tender
