Hi I'm Craig Connolly

I am a husband. A father of three. I enjoy all sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in central Arizona. I have six brothers and zero sisters. My parents have been married for over 38 years. My wife and I met in college and have been married for just under 7 years. We have three children...two girls and a boy. I work for a university, but my passion is financial planning. I enjoy helping others learn to save and live financially free. In my free time I enjoy playing sports, watching movies, and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

In a world full of ups and downs, it is tough to stay in the right frame of mind. With so many motivators, such as: money, material items, postiion, the approval of others. etc. It is so easy to lose focus on what is important in life. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has provided a guide to maintain a healthy lifestyle both mentally and physically. Being a member of the church my entire life has taught me the importance of family and how it is central to the Creator's plan of happiness. I am a member because it allows me to serve others around me. In summary, the gospel of Christ is in full force and my family is happy as a result.

How I live my faith

Serving in the church is a great blessing. It provides the opportunity to give back to the Lord to some degree, although it is miniscule in comparison to what He has given. Currently, I work with the youth in the Scouting program. My purpose is to provide direction for our future generation. This is done by providing our young men with opportunities to learn in several ways. Many of our youth serve in leadership roles over their peers at some point during the ages of 12-18. Throughout the young men's program, our youth participate in many service projects. We also have a lot of fun with campouts, hikes, boating, repelling, and all sorts of outdoor adventures. This is a major reason why I love the church and have faith in how I live my life.
