Hi I'm Jesse

I am a fourth generation Arizonian. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew my first garden in a gradeschool garden across the street from my school. Ever since then I have enjoyed gardening. Since being married, I have had a garden every year. Some years the harvest is plentiful while others bleak. Over the years, the garden has become a family activity that everyone enjoys.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints but it was not until I was 14 or 15 years old that I really began to understand the importance of Jesus Christ in my life. The change came after I attended a week long church camp focused on my relationship with Jesus Christ. It was the experiences at this camp that helped me to realize how real Christ was and how much I needed him in my life. Since then, I have had many experiences that have continued to strenghten my faith in Him.

How I live my faith

I have found that the more I help others, the happier I am. One of my favorite things to do is to help friends start a garden. Gardening is something I love to do and it is fun to get others involved. I also enjoy working with the youth, I currently volunteer with a Boy Scouts of America troop and work with a group of 17 boys. We have a lot of fun but the reason for doing it is to teach the boys how to be great leaders that will become great members of society. I hope my service will be a possitive influence on our countries future.
