Hi I'm Joe

I'm a Texan: I wasn't born here but got here as fast as I could. I'm a husband, father, and aspiring gardener. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm married to a wonderful woman and we're parents of four fully-energized kids: two boys and twin girls. I love to solve problems and create new things. My medium of choice is the Internet. I maintain a handful of blogs on various topics and am a published author. By day I work for a technology company helping to get more customers to buy through the company's website. The rest of the time, I enjoy traveling or playing with my family. I've recently discovered gardening and love it. Unfortunately, gardening in Texas is quite the challenge!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because of the wonderful plan of happiness our Father in Heaven has created for us. It is so comforting to know that we are literally children of God and he knows us and loves us. We lived with Him before we were born on Earth and can live with him again after we die. Understanding the big picture helps keep all of life's challenges and troubles in perspective.

How I live my faith

I've always been actively engaged in serving in our church. I've taught classes during our Sunday services to almost every age group from little 18 month old kids to teenagers and adults. I love to teach and am always grateful for the opportunity to do so. I feel that as the teacher, I always learn so much in my preparations! I primarily live my faith my teaching and encouraging my children to be good Christians. I strive to help them form good habits so that they will know and love their Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.
