Hi I'm Guy Soper

I have lived in Phoenix, Arizona my whole life. I love music and being with my friends.

About Me

I play the classical guitar and love all kinds of music. I like going to the beach with my family and playing in the ocean. I love to play sports, especially soccer. I also like to skateboard with my friends and go out camping. My favorite spot to go camping and exploring is in the Grand Canyon where there are waterfalls, pools, rivers, hiking trails, and more. As of right now I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I serve in the California Sacramento mission and I love every minute of it!

Why I am a Mormon

I know the gospel is true through personal revelation. I have felt the spirit of God many times and cannot deny it! The Book of Mormon and the Bible teach the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Through that we can return to live happily with our Heavenly Father. He loves us and I can feel it every time I turn to him and serve others as he has asked. The fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ is here for our happiness which comes from obeying it! I am Mormon because the church helps me get closer to Christ more than anything else, and because I know that by being obedient to the precepts taught in the church, I will be happy.

How I live my faith

To live my faith I regularly attend church and seek for the spirit each time I go. Although it is hard to stay focused on it, I do my best to serve others at every opportunity. I live my faith by striving to be like Jesus Christ. He was the greatest example. Each time life gets rough I turn to prayer. I strive to be happy and serve others. Every day I study the scriptures and search for the spirit to be with me. This makes each day have greater purpose and I find that I am happier. I love the lord and give thanks to him regularly. I do my best to live how Jesus did and be true to the covenants I made when I was baptized.
