Hi I'm Jennae

I'm a wife, a mother of two, and I enjoy learning new languages and about other countries and cultures. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up very multi-cultural. My dad is American and my mom is from Mexico. Growing up I had friends from all cultural and ethnic backgrounds. I lived in Italy for a year and a half and my husband is from Brazil. For the past several years I've been employed by a company that works with people from all over the world. My husband's career is in Global Business. We are trying to raise our children with the same love that we have for people, languages, and cultures.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a member of the Mormon church. My mother is a convert and my father a life- long member. As a young child I remember feeling so secure and happy with the teachings of the church. I felt I could always turn to a loving Heavenly Father and that he would answer my prayers and comfort me. As I've grown and life has given me a taste of both sweet and bitter, I feel my love for the gospel of Jesus Christ has intensified. I don't know what I would do without the peace the gospel brings.

How I live my faith

I love to attend church meetings as well as teach my children about the gospel at home. At church, I work with the young women ages 12-18 and enjoy planning weekly activities for them to get together and learn both gospel related things as well as help them develop their talents and have fun together. I also love to help out wherever needed--for example, we are given the opportunity to make meals for those who are sick or are otherwise in need. It makes me feel good to be able to reach out.
