Hi I'm Lannie

I'm a Mormon. I've lived in Ogden, Utah, Germany, and one year in Adana, Turkey. Have now settled in Graham, Washington

About Me

I'm a proud Father of six children and Grandfather of currently seventeen grandchildren. I'm active in my community, church, and work while trying to service others with whatever help is needed. I love the outdoors and go camping whenever I get the chance. I love music and play the Acoustic and Bass Guitar in my spare time. My bussiest hobby right now I guess is working in our back yard with my wife trying to finish our stone camp fire pit area before the weather changes.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born of righteous parents who were already active members. I feel very blessed to have been raised up in the church. When I reached my teenage years I started to rebel and broke away from activity for a while. I suppose i took the Gospel for granit and let things get in the way. After a few years of humility and just growing up I returned to the church. I owe alot to my wonderful wife who lead me back to the right path. We were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple after about two years of civil marriage for time and all eternity. I feel very very blessed to have her. My prayers were answered a hundred fold when she came into my life.

How I live my faith

I'm currently serving as the High Priest Group Leader in my ward under the direction of the Bishop and Stake leaders in my area. Basicly, I coordinate the home teaching visits for the older male members of the ward (High Priests). I organize service activities for the needy like home repairs, suppling fire wood to those that rely on it as their only heat source, or just giving someone a ride to church. I keep track of the in-active members of the ward and try to encourage them back to church.
