Hi I'm Alicia

I am a full time working mother of four and I am a Mormon!

About Me

I like to do anything that I can do with my family. We like to go to the beach or ride our quads in the desert and mountains. We are HUGE football fans and we spend our Saturdays attending our son's football games. Our daughter loves to go and be the cheerleader. My husband and I are both self-employed... not an easy task in today's economy, but we are grateful for an eternal perspective.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church, but I still had to find and develop a testimony of my own. My husband is a convert and early in our marriage we were both inactive. After having our first child we realized we wanted to raise him in the Church and soon became active again. We were blessed with 2 additional children through the help of fertility and our fourth child was nothing short of a miracle. It isn't always easy to be a Mormon, but we have been overwhelmed with blessings from our Father in Heaven, and we are thankful for each and every one of them.

How I live my faith

My calling in the Church is in Primary which is like Sunday School for the children ages 3-11. I am truly blessed to be able to help teach these little children about Jesus and about being a Child of God. They have such a sweet desire to learn and know their Father in Heaven and through prayer they know they can talk to him about anything. I am also a visiting teacher which means that once a month, with a companion, we visit 2 women in the ward and give them a lesson from our Prophet. It is also our responsibility to take care of these women in times of sickness, injury or loss. We serve one another and bare each others burden's. I am thankful that I have the opportunity to serve. I believe that our hands are His Hands here on the Earth.
