Hi I'm Cade

I was born and raised in Arizona. I live with my family while being a full time student. I love life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently studying Applied Psychology, with the intent to use that to develop more user-friendly devices and interfaces for everyday things. That takes up most of my time during the week. When I'm not working on school, I help my family take care of our little farm. It isn't very big, but it still keeps us busy. When things slow down, I enjoy playing video and computer games with my family. On days off we may go fishing and hunting together. I attend the LDS Institute of Religion at my campus, and it is my favorite class.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon household, and I was raised to follow that lifestyle. I always recognized that there was something that my life seemed to have that others did not. It was not until I started getting ready to serve a mission that I started to fully understand that everything that made my life good could somehow be tied to following the teachings of Jesus Christ. As I served a mission I was blessed to see how lives could change and heal as they also followed His teachings. In the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ, I say that I know that this is Christ's church, and that He loves us enough to actively guide us through the living prophets and apostles at its head. I know that all who actively follow Him will attain that happiness that he wants us to have. This knowledge fills my life with great meaning and purpose, and knowing what I know, I would think it unreasonable to follow any other path.

How I live my faith

I attend a weekly block of meetings consisting of other young single adults. I was quickly called to serve in that group as the Sacrament Coordinator, and Building Maintenence, as well as being given a hometeaching assignment. As the Sacrament Coordinator, I am in charge of making sure the bread and water are ready to be blessed and given to the congregation in our central meeting. Taking this bread and water is a way of showing Christ that we are still trying to follow him, which is very important to us, and I take this calling very seriously. As Building maintenance, I make sure the chapel where we meet is cleaned up after we are done so that the group that comes in after us can also have a good spiritual experience. As a Hometeacher, I have been able to visit various other members of this church in their homes, and share spiritual and uplifting messages and experiences with them, as well as offer them service. This helps us get closer these members of our church than we might be otherwise, which gives them someone they know they can call if they need help. I, in turn, am blessed to have my own Hometeachers, and I know that I can call on them if I need assistance.
