Hi I'm Maddie

I'm a volleyball player,a high-school student, a crafter, a piano player, a photographer, a daughter, and a sister. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a High School student and I love school! Some of my favorite things to do are to play volleyball, play the piano, and photography. When I am older, I want to become a professional photographer. Another hobby of mine is crafting! I can recycle almost anything and make it into something fun and cute! I love being a Mormon and living the gospel in every way that I can! I have two wonderful parents who love me and support me in every way they can. I also have an amazing older brother and two adorable younger sister who always keep my life interesting and keep me on the right path.

Why I am a Mormon

I am so blessed to have the teachings of the church guiding my life. I know that if we follow the teachings and commandments of God, we will be blessed. I know that the Savior lives and knows and loves each and every one of us. I know that my families can be sealed together forever in God's temple. I have grown up in the church but the reason I have stayed a member is because the church brings me happiness and peace. Every time I feel sad, angry, or disapointed, I know I can pray and can be comforted by the Holy Ghost. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I feel peace and happiness in my life that many others do not have. I have the knowledge and comfort that I need in my life. I have so many good friends in the church who help me along and share the same high standards that I do. Without the church, I feel like half my life would be missing and I would have nothing to do and I would be without the gospel which is a big part of my life.

How I live my faith

I love serving others and serve in my local congregation every time I can. I attend church meetings, youth activities, and service projects. I have found happiness in living the way my church leaders have asked me by doing things such as choosing not to date until I am 16, dressing modestly, listening to appropriate music, and doing things the Lord would be pleased with me doing. I am a good example at school because even though people all around me dress immodestly and use bad language, I follow the standards and do what I know is right. I try to stay out of situations that the spirit could not be with me in. I enjoy being with my friends that are members because they are kind and understand exactly what I am going throught in my life. It is hard sometimes to be in a school where there are not many members, but i hang out with those who have similar standards as I do and I read the scriptures and attend seminary every day to help strengthen my testimony and build my faith.
