Hi I'm Emilie

I was raised in Colorado. I work as a nanny. I love life and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm serving a mission in New Jersey! I chose to serve a mission because the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has brought so much joy and happiness to my life. I would not be the person I am today if I had not grown up in the Church. I grow up in a large family in Colorado. I loved to help my dad with his side jobs when I lived at home, play sports, go to movies, go camping, read books and hang out with friends. I have lots of different types of friends that come from many different walks of life. I was was a Nanny for a year, and babysat all the time. I love to be around children.

Why I am a Mormon

I grow up in the Church. When I was a teenager I decided that I needed to decide if I wanted to stay in the Church. I as I looked at my life I asked my self two things: first, do I believe what I have been taught, and second, am I happy. The answers were Yes. So it only made since for me to keep going to church. I love the Our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ So much that I cannot imagine living with out them! They have helped me through many trials in my life and I owe everything to them! I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only True Church of God. I know that President Joseph Smith saw God our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. That through Joseph Smith God restored his true church. I know that the Prophets after him have all been Called of God.

How I live my faith

I love doing service projects, cleaning up peoples yards, picking up trash, feeding the homeless and many other things. I taught primary, which is classes for children 3-11, for about 2 years. I have been the Ward Girls Camp leader, which is for girls 12-18. I went to LDS Business College for 2 years and Love it there.
