Hi I'm Mike

I am the youngest of 5 and the father of 2. I enjoy making people smile and laugh. I'm a Mormon.BR class=" slvzr-first-child"

About Me

I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am grateful for the trials that I have been given. While I was young, I had to watch my mother suffer with brain cancer. The teachings that the gospel brought to my life helped me understand the purpose of life and prepared me for her death that came when I was 13 years of age. I was able to see how important it is to give service and as a family that needed help, I also learned to recieve service from others. I am thankful that I have been able to know where to turn to recieve the answers that I have about many of lifes problems. I come from a very strong family that were taught right from wrong and had parents that showed me how to live a life that Christ would want me to live. I can look at my life now and count all the blessings that the Lord has blessed me with, especially my wife and 2 children that make me feel that my wife and I must be doing a good job, because they are awesome!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised with a belief in Jesus Christ and through many of my lifes events have had opportunities to strengthen that belief in Him. I had great church leaders that helped confirm the things that I was taught at home. I served a two year mission in Texas and saw many peoples lives change for the better. I love to see the excitement of people that are learning about the restored gospel and see how it strengthens their beliefs. I know where I came from, why I came to earth, and who God wants me to be in this life and the life to come. I know that God lives and loves me. I love listening to his inspired leaders he has blessed us with. I know that Jesus Christ is my Redeemer and Saviour.

How I live my faith

I share my beliefs with those that ask. I spend as much time as possible with my kids preparing them for life and the challenges that it can bring. I serve in whatever church calling that I am asked to. I have worked with the youth, adult leadership and am currently helping the missionaries share the gospel with those that they are teaching.
