Hi I'm Nicole

I am on my high school swim team. I enjoy lots of sports, but especially swimming and basketball. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love sports. Both watching and playing them. My favorite sport to watch is football, and my favorite sport to play is basketball. I am currently on my high school swim team. I enjoy hanging out with friends, watching movies, and playing video games too. I also love Harry Potter and Star Wars.

Why I am a Mormon

My chuch is a big part of my life. Without it, I wouldn't be the person I am today. I learn simple things in church which, when I follow, I am happier. My church brings a lot of joy into my life and into the life of my family members.

How I live my faith

My parents and church leaders taught me basic rules to follow in life. For example, they taught me to be nice to others. They taught me to share and be patient. By following these simple rules, I can become a better person. Also, I get up early every morning and meet with other teenagers before school for a Bible study class. By doing this, I have a better day and I am more awake and alert by the time school starts. This class also helps me make better choices in school and during the day.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Nicole
There are many things that tell me personally that there is a God. One of them is that there is a beautiful world around me. Every rock, every tree, every animal, everything shows that there is a God and that He created this world. Also, I can feel God's love for me and notice His help in my life. Another thing is that there are so many miracles that happen every day. I know that there are really big miracles talked about in the Bible, such as Moses parting the Red Sea, but there are a lot of little miracles too. For example, when I was little my finger got stuck in a door jamb when my dad closed the door not knowing my finger was there. My dad even locked the door, but God was looking out for me and blessed me that my finger did not get broken; it was only bruised even though it got locked in a door! Also, God often helps me with school. Whenever I take a test, I pray that God will help me on it and then I do really well. If God did not help me on those tests, I would have failed them. I can see God's hand in my life all the time and I can see his creations around me. These things tell me that there is a God. Show more Show less
