Hi I'm Nancy

I'm a Mormon. I'm a wife, a mother of six, and very devoted to my family.

About Me

I have been a "stay at home" mom for over 25 years. I have loved being at home with my family and it has been worth every monetary sacrifice along the way. With many of my children off at college, I am ready to begin a new chapter in my life in deciding what I would like to do next. One thing I would like to do is finish my college degree. I also have recently begun jogging which is surprisingly fun, even at my age!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my whole life. I lived it because my parents did, but over time their example and my own desire to know the truth for myself has helped me to know I am right where my Heavenly Father wants me to be. I am grateful to be able to share with my children the knowledge I have of a Heavenly Father who loves me and each one of us, and of the Savior, Jesus Christ, who loves us enough to suffer for our mistakes and help us in returning to live again with our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I have loved helping out with children in the schools where my children attended and also at church. My favorite service though, is with the youth. I love their strength, their commitment to do good, and their desire to just have fun together. Their strength helps me to know that as future leaders in our community and church they will press forward with steadfastness in their commitment to stand for what is right. Right now I work with other leaders in planning and organizing a girl's camp which runs for a week every summer for the 12-18 year old girls of the church in my area. It is so fun to watch as all the hours of preparation turn into a week of service, friendship, and building of each girl's testimony of Jesus Christ and a desire to be the best they can be.
