Hi I'm Scott

I'm a physician, a musician, an entrepreneur, and am comfortable thinking outside the box.

About Me

I believe life is too short to be normal or average. I'm working on revolutionizing healthcare to make it more affordable to people without insurance. As a family doctor, I'm able to take care of families and their healthcare needs. It also allows me to serve others with health needs. My job is very stressful, but ultimately very fulfilling. I've loved composing classical piano music since an early age and love that some of my children have followed my passion. I love to sing and have been my ward choir director multiple times over several years. I believe music appreciation is a spiritual gift, and it may be used to receive revelation from God. I love to travel the world and learn from history to put in perspective who I am and how different cultures and people interact.

Why I am a Mormon

I love Jesus. While I grew up the church, I still had to gain a testimony of Christ and His gospel. This spiritual journey continues.

How I live my faith

I love my wife! Together, we can tackle everything life has thrown at us so far. We are trying very hard to teach our children about respect, charity, love, faith, hard work, and integrity. I like to put copies of the Ensign in my waiting room and people really love the articles! This is a small way I can share the gospel .

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Scott
Of course not. We're all God's children, not just Mormons. Many people may believe Mormons only help other Mormons because of our very efficient welfare program. So we DO take care of our very well, but if a disaster strikes, for example, we do what we can to help Mormons AND non-Mormons. Show more Show less
