Hi I'm Jennifer

I grew up in Virginia. I am recently home from Uganda, Mbale! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am college graduate with a major in Organizational Communication and an emphasis in Event Planning and Nutrition. I was born and raised in Virginia, right outside Washington DC, but my family recently moved to Arizona. I come from a family of five girls- My twin and I the oldest, and although I grew up very much a girly-girl, I do love my sports. I love the NBA and College basketball, I’ve learned to LOVE rugby, and I am working on liking football. I danced most my life, but I’m into resistance training and cardio workouts, as fitness and nutrition are very important to me. In my spare time, I enjoy snowboarding in the winter, love boating in the summer, and spend a lot of time in the fashion world and shopping. Chocolate is my biggest weakness and pretzels are my recent obsession. If there is any one single thing to know about me, I have a huge heart for children and recently returned home from a mission in Uganda, Mbale, primarily to work with the children. Best decision I've made in my life yet.

Why I am a Mormon

I am so grateful to have been born into and raised in a family, where both my dad's whole side and my mom's whole side of the family are LDS. I have never once doubted the church or asked why I am Mormon. I am very grateful that my trial in life has not been struggling to know if the church is true. I know, without a doubt in my mind, that The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only true church on the face of the earth. I don't who'd I'd be or where'd I be without it. I thank my Heavenly Father, everyday, for the blessings He has given me. And I want to share the gospel and truth of it with as many people as I can.

How I live my faith

Every Sunday, I get to help my ward in various callings, depending on where I am. Because I have recently moved to Arizona, I don't hold a specific calling yet. But in recent years, I've had the privilege to teach Gospel Doctrine, a class that is taught during the second hour of every church meeting. I have been able to work on the activities committee to help prepare wonderful activities for the young singles adults in my previous ward, and I've worked with the young women, specifically, in my freshmen and sophomore year wards.
