Hi I'm Natalie

I'm a wife, I'm a mother, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Napa, California and then went to ASU where I met my sweetheart. After enduring enough of the heat and desert creatures we moved to Colorado. I have two children and am the domestic engineer of our household; however I am not actually very domestic as I do not like to cook or do crafts. I enjoy reading almost all things related to business and received a BA degree in Marketing from ASU.

Why I am a Mormon

First and foremost, I am a Mormon because as a teenager I followed the challenge in the Book of Mormon to read and pray about it and received a personal answer that the gospel was true. I have received many more answers to prayers throughout my life that continue to strengthen my testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel. Also, the gospel of Jesus Christ gives my life an eternal perspective which helps me to endure the trials of life. I have endured various health problems that have been challenging and at times devastating. However, through the teachings of the gospel I know that I have a loving Father in Heaven that is aware of me and has a plan for my life. I receive great comfort in Isaiah 41:10 “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” I know that no matter what we go through in life, He is there to help us and strengthen us.

How I live my faith

I strive to live my faith the way the Savior taught us to live, by loving and serving others. The church provides various opportunities to serve others and my favorite is as a visiting teacher in the Relief Society (the women’s organization in the church). Every woman is assigned two visiting teachers, or two other women, to visit and look after her. To me this program exemplifies how the Savior would have us live, by loving and watching over and caring for others. This program has been a blessing in my life as others have served me throughout my health problems and it has also blessed me with opportunities to love and serve the women that I watch over.
