Hi I'm Jenny

I grew up all over the United States. I play the accordion and read a ridiculous amount of books. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've lived in or been to 49 out of 50 states. I enjoy everything from paper craft to skiing to the piano to baking pies. I enjoy the stress of being a mother of two, and continue to enjoy the great outdoors despite giving up my career as a Geologist.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. However, I continue to be a member of this church because of the many experiences I've had over and over again that reaffirm both my testimony of Christ and my testimony of this religion as the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I frequently find myself in a 'substitute' role, teaching children when their teacher is unavailable, or perhaps playing the piano or organ when the need arises. Lately I've also been called as the Canning Specialist. I am a liaison between the local church cannery and the people in our ward. There they can can everything from fruit to beans to milk powder for both the church humanitarian aid and their own personal use. Because emergency preparedness is so important and the prophet has asked us to be prepared, this is an integral part of ensuring that everyone has the food necessary in case of such an emergency.
