Hi I'm Lia

I am a Hair Dresser. I am an Army wife. I am a mom. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I got married to my soldier 3 years ago. We had our son almost 2 years ago. Our son was born 11 weeks early, and we spent the first two months of his life in the hospital, but the church and our family got us through it and every one was very helpful. 2 weeks after my son came home, my husband left for Army training and then a few months later got deployed to Afghanistan. He was gone for 11 months and then sent home with a TBI and Spinal Cord injury from going through an explosion. My husband is adjusting with his injuries and my son is finally all caught up to where he should be. I am a hair stylist, but I enjoy being an at home mom, so I do hair from home every now and then. I love to scrapbook, I love card making, I love decorating for holidays, I have a very contemporary style, and most of all I love being a mom .

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a member of this church, but I would have to say that my personal "moment" when I new that I wanted to make the church a big part of my life and center my families lives on Christ was when I had my son and everyone in the church was so helpful and it was just an amazing feeling of knowing this is where I needed to be to be happy. Soon after our son was discharged from the hospital we went through the temple as a family. I am happy and that is why i am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

There is a saying that " no success can compensate for failure in the home". So I live my faith by teaching it my home and going to church on Sundays. My 2 year old boy knows we say prayers before each meal and before bed, he even folds his arms, this is a success in my home to me.
