Hi I'm Colton

I live in Arizona. I'm a triathlete and a student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the last child of 3 boys, and I attend BYU. I study chemical engineering. I enjoy being an athlete and a student. I do triathlons and I completed Ironman Texas 2014 in 11 hours and 19 minutes.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a wonderful family that has taught me to love the gospel. The support and example of my parents have older siblings have led me towards Christ. I'm inspired by the knowledge and testimony of leaders and gospel teachers which surround me. I strive to match the perfect example of Christ and his teachings. I feel I grow closer to him as I study the scriptures and pray to Heavenly Father daily. I find happiness in the Gospel, and I want all others to know it as I have. I want others to feel the mercy and tender love of God as his children. I know that blessings from choosing the right is a right to all people, for the Lord is bound when ye do what he says. I testify that no matter what mistake has been made Christ has atoned for it and we can obtain peace with ourselves through the forgiveness.

How I live my faith

I have been called to serve in the Brazil Brasilia Mission. I report on January 14th to the Brazil MTC. This will be a great opportunity to live my faith since I will be bringing others unto Christ. I also live my faith by standing for what is right as I attend school. Though I am not perfect I continually seek to accurately represent Christ and his gospel while interacting with my peers. I know that I receive innumerable blessings as I live the gospel.
