Hi I'm Cory Echols

I'm a Mormon. I am Father of Four, and Married to the woman of my dreams. I love to serve others. I love riding quads.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in with 3 brothers and a little sister. I had amazing parents who loved me and taught me well. I was allowed to roam and play and do all the things a small boy loves to do. I love to ride quads, dirt bikes, fish, hunt, shoot guns, ride horses, go to lake, wakeboard, snowboard, golf, basketbal, raquete ball, and basically any other physical activity indoor or outdoors. I am an Eagle Scout, and served my mission in New Zealand. I met my beautiful bride on a blind date while she was going to College She makes me so happy. I have the most amazing children. They are awesome and love to do all of dads favorite things. As a family we love going to the dunes, camping, and going on trips like Disneyland. I never went to college because I didn't know what I wanted to be when I grew up. Probably because I plan to never grow up. I started an insurance business 10 years ago and love every aspect of it. It has provided for me and my family in more ways than I ever could have dreamed of. I can also fix almost everything, from cars, appliances, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, dirt bikes and quads, and I can do most anything, including things I have never done before. Mostly because I am not afraid to try or break things. If I break it I'll just fix it and if I fail I'll just try again. I love serving others because it allows me to make awesome friends and it brings me the most joy. Second behind my family i try to be the friend everyone always wanted.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the LDS church and was converted when I decided to serve a mission for the church. I figured if I was going to tell others this is the ONLY true and living church on earth I better know it for myself. I was 18 and after much fasting and prayer, I received my answer from the lord. I didn't see anything or hear anything but I new in my heart that all the things I had learned about the LDS church was true. Being a Mormon brings me so much joy and happiness. I know that sounds cheezy but it does. I am active, loud, and energetic man. With the teachings of this church it has taught me to be the man I should be. I know that Jesus Christ is the son of God and the savior of this world. I know that God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost are 3 distinct separate beings. I know that God the Father and his son appeared to a young boy Joseph Smith. I know that God and his son have organized their true church hear on Earth. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints is that Church. Jesus Christ is the head of that church and we receive revalation from him through his living prophet Thomas S Monson. I have read the Book of Mormon and I know that it is true. As I read it, it has taught me to more than any other book in my life. I love being a Mormon. As I live by the teachings of the LDS church I become more and more happy. I don't follow their rules out of obligation, I do it because I want to. I am grateful for the man I am today and I am this person because of the great teachings of this church and wonderful parents and friends.

How I live my faith

As a member of the LDS church I served a mission in New Zealand. As I served a mission for the lord I was shaped and taught and molded I believe by the savior himself. I learned so much as I served others. The people of New Zealand have so much faith, they are so Charitable, and instantly love others. Although I went their to serve others and to help others find something that has brought me so much joy, I was the one who was helped the most. I believe because of this service the lord has blessed and is still blessing my life today. I also now work with the youth in this church, specifically the young men. I love working with them and I hope I can help shape and encourage them to become strong valiant men of God. I have been given so many opportunities to serve and as I have done so I have been blessed. God put us here on earth to one day return to live with him. It is all of our responsibility to help each other do so. I am also the Venturing Scout leader. Being an Eagle Scout is something that helped me so much in my life. I want to help as many others as I can to reach this same goal
