Hi I'm Donna

I'm a mom. I'm a grandma. I'm a great-grandma. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have traveled a large part of the world. I have seen so many things in my life, things that others would only dream about. Yet when it all came down to it there is no place like home. I have raised many children, and have four daughters of my own. I have ten grandkids, and couldn't think of anything better than spending time with them. They are the light of my life!

Why I am a Mormon

In 1996 my husband was really sick, and about to die. We were both praying that if he would get better than we would find a church. Well he got better and we had made a promise to God. So every Sunday we would get dressed for church, and pick a church to attend. There were many times we would pick a church and would just sit in the parking lot. Something just didn't feel right. I had noticed that my boss would always walk into work, and the first thing that he would do was to set his scriptures on his desk. I had noticed others that I knew went to church with him, and there was something different about how they carried themselves. It was enough that I asked to here more information about their church. They promptly sent missionaries over the same day and my husband and I were baptized 5 days later. The spirit that was felt meeting with the missionaries has stayed with me still to this day.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by giving all my time and talents to the needy. In my many years I have learned how to do things that others think are complicated. So in helping others I find joy. Also I find that when I spend my time serving others, my problems don't seem as important. It also is a way for me to draw closer to my Father in Heaven.
