Hi I'm Curtis

I love my small town and my Country and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up on a ranch in California. For 18 years I terrorized the hills around our home hunting, fishing and doing all the things a young man should and shouldn’t do. After surviving my early years I moved to Arizona with my family where through the grace of God I met my wife. She introduced me to the one thing that would change my life forever, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. And since that day I have been on an incredible journey.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was a child I was asked "What do you want to be?”. I remember wanting to be every cool thing that I could imagine- fighter pilot, astronaut or even a Utility Worker (that’s what I do). But being a Mormon was not even on my list. Thankfully God knows what’s best for us and he directed my life in such a way that what I wanted to be was a Mormon. Being a member of this Church has shown me what true happiness is and how I need to live to always have that happiness.

How I live my faith

Being a member of the Mormon Church is more than a Sunday meeting. My life is full of opportunities to live what I believe. Being responsible for missionary work in my ward is full of challenges but also very rewarding. Meeting others who were like me and being able to share the burning testimony that I have is one of the most exhilarating things in my life. I also have the opportunity to serve others; this rich reward to help those in need humbles my heart and helps me feel love for all of Gods Children. There is also a selfish side to living what I believe, I try and participate in every Boy Scouting activity that my sons are involved in. This allows me to be a part of their lives and make memories that will last more than a lifetime.
