Hi I'm Letha

I am in the middle of my happily ever after. I choose to be a "stay at home" Mom of 7. I've been married 13 years. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I fill my days with all the joys that go along with being a Mom and a Wife. I love scrapbooking, planning dates, reading, sewing, photography, decorating, weddings, cooking (not so much the clean up but defintaly the baking and eating!) I love rearranging my house! Something about moving all my stuff around makes me feel like I've accomplished something! I am constatly searching for better ways to organize, simplify and enjoy life! I love doing things with my family. My kids still think I can do just about anything. One of my daughters recently came home with some nice garbage and said, "Mom, I knew you could make this into something." It took me some thought and time, but together we created something for her to use with her dolls. I enjoy using all my talents, and learning new ones to bless the lives of those around me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am blessed to be born into The Chruch of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. While I have always enjoied the people and the feelings that are presnt when members are together, I didn't always want to go to church. As a teen and young adult, I had to study the scriptures and pray daily to gain a testimony of gospel and church. I have always loved the first sunday of each month because it is a special meeting. It is called fast and testimony. We are invited as members to share our testimonies for an entire hour. I have always felt uplifted and grow spiritually listening to testimonies of youth, children and adults. I have also been greatful to have the opportunity to stand as a witness of Christ and share my own testimony. When I was 16 I desperatly wanted to know which church was true. I spent time going to other friends churches and studying the Bible and The Book of Mormon. I learned for myself that the gospel is true. That Jesus Christ lives. That he died for me because He wants ME to return to heaven with him. I learned that we have a Heavenly Father who loves us, and is always waiting to bless us if we are willing to accept them. I am a "Mormon" because I know the joy and peace following Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father can bring. And in this world of hussle and bussle, I can definatly use more joy and peace!

How I live my faith

My faith is apparent in every aspect of my life. Our home is filled with various pictures of Christ, temples of The Chruch of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, President Thomas S. Monson- our living prophet, as well as various quotes from Heavenly Father's servants, which proclaim our faith,& inspire me to do better. In our home you will not find R rated movies, coffee or alcohol. You will find us kneeling in prayer, baking something for a neighbor, making something, & laughing together. We attend church for three hours every sunday, and with a large family, we have activites and meetings at the church several times a week. People are amazed at the amount of time dedicated to "church". For us it isn't something we HAVE to do, it is something we GET to do. Heavenly Father created this vast world for us, and we enjoy learning more about him, and sharing our time and talents with those around us. To me, my faith is a part of who I am. My knowledge that I am a daugter of a loving God, who knows me by name and wants what is best for me is present in everything I do.
