Hi I'm Christina

I live in Washington. I'm in school. I love singing, dancing and acting. I love to teach. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to sing, dance, and act. I am currently serving an 18-month mission in the Brasil Sao Paulo East region, which is such a huge blessing to both me and my family. I was attending Brigham Young University- Provo before my mission, and will return directly after my mission. I love traveling, hanging out with friends, and laughing.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a member of the LDS church. Luckily, my mom has always had a strong testimony of God's Plan of Happiness for us. When I was only five years old, my father passed away. It was a difficult experience for all of of my family. I was very little, and so was pretty traumatized: old enough to understand what had happened, but too young to really understand God's purpose behind it. However, the principles of the LDS church teach that families can be together forever, can be reunited after death in Heaven. I decided from a very young age that I wanted to be with my family forever, and that desire has aided me to be firm in my faith. While this was my initial reason for trying to follow the Gospel, I have grown to have a testimony of following all of Christ's teachings. I have come to realize how important each principle is. Even when I'm not perfect, I know that I can continue to better myself, and that I can be forgiven for my mistakes, which I see as a huge miracle.

How I live my faith

I have always been very involved in the LDS Church. Even as a teen, I served as head of the girls aged 16-18, and later as counselor for the same age group. Part of my responsibilites was planning youth group activities for people aged 12-18. In October of 2012, it was announced that girls could go on missions starting at age 19 (instead of the previous minimum age of 21). I am currently serving a mission to share the joy the church gives me with my fellow brothers and sisters in Sao Paulo Brazil.
