Hi I'm Ben

I'm a graphic designer. I love listening to music. I'm a dad. I'm never too old to get on a skateboard. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up with a love for art and turned that into a career by getting an BA in Art with an emphasis in graphic design. That somehow landed me a job with a multi-faceted company where I do design work for entertainment properties, comic books and action figures. I also was raised in Southern California listening to alternative music and skateboarding and that independent spirit has never left me.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon to me is all about my personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has the authority, knowledge and tools to make that a reality. It brings clear direction to my life, gives me purpose and helps makes sense of a world that is filled with stuff that just doesn't make sense sometimes. It lifts, sustains, inspires and brings me a peace that can't be found in any other way.

How I live my faith

Learning that our happiness is dependent on us - and the choices we make - has been key for me. I try to make those kind of choices that will make me the happiest. I also try to spend time teaching my sons about the Church and it's teachings – and showing them how they can use the ideas and principles to help solve life's problems. The Church also provides opportunities to serve other members of the Church and in the community. I have been involved in Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, helping can food, taking care of infants, etc. the list goes on, and each experience teaches me something new and builds more relationships.
