Hi I'm Gina

I am an aspiring artist and a 80's rock fan. I love animals and movies and I am a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Gina and I am curently serving a mission in the New York, Utica Mission. Its fabulous here and the people are great. :) I love to read, sketch, and listen to music. I love to have pets, some of them include Han Solo (parakeet), Bon Jovi (parakeet), Roxanne Ritchi (Bourke's Parrot), Humpry (Chamileon), Rosie (Horse), Lola (my goose whom I HATCHED from an egg!!! True Story.) and Misha (goat), just to name a few. I love to have fun outdoors such as camping, quading, rapelling, and swimming. I also love "indoors"activities, like Legend of Zelda, Doctor Who, Blasting 80's rock music, Computer stuff, and the like. I am an aspiring artist, when I get home from NY I plan on taking Art classes till my fingers bleed. I want to study alot in Water-coloring. And Pastels. And Photoshop. And drawing the human figure. And charcoal. And Sketching in general. You know. Art stuff. Basically I can't wait to get started!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in an LDS family and for most of my life I took the Book Of Mormon for granted. I don't know when exactly I got my testimony, but one day I was with my mom in the car and she mentioned a scripture from the Book Of Mormon, to which I replied " Ya, I love the Book Of Mormon." It was just a simple statement but as I thought about it I realized that it was true. I really do love the stories and knowledge that can be found in that wonderful book. It really is the word of God and there is so much to be learned from its pages. And not only the Book Of Mormon but the Bible as well. I am a Mormon because there is truth in this Gospel that cannot be found anywhere else.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to follow the Lords commandments. I try to keep my life clean from sin and anything that will distract me from being able to feel the spirit. The gospel is a precious gift and it is one that I want to share with those around me, that is why, I began to prepare myself to serve a mission 2 years ago. I was waiting to turn 21 and then the wonderful announcement was made by our prophet. Young Women can serve at 19. I turned in my papers shortly there after and now here I am. Happily spreading the gospel in the New York Utica Mission.
