Hi I'm Keith

I come from a farming heritage and I am a professional salesman who sells heavy equipment. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father and grandfather first and foremost to a blended family of children that I love most distinctly. Graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering I have spent an extended career with equipment that moves the soil, cuts the tree, builds the world around us. One of my favorite past times is riding anything with two wheels, either motorcycles or bicycles. I have travelled the country sport touring and love to find a good fire road or trail to ride. I grew up shooting in rural Nebraska with both my grandfather, dad, brother, and uncles. That has turned into a hobby of gun collecting and competitive shooting. I have built the house in which I live, restored muscle cars, and play the guitar. Music seems to brighten my spirit and a fondness of country and bluegrass music still gets my toe a tapping. I have retained friends for years even including high school chums and find friendship an important responsibility as a human being.

Why I am a Mormon

I travelled to Salt Lake for many years and worked with many Mormons. Flying to Salt lake one time I started talking with a woman from Oklahoma. We spoke the entire trip and I ended up taking her to her destination in Provo at BYU Education Week. She later convinced me to join her to vist the Church Visitors Center and listen to the Tabernacle Choir. Having had several questions answered we left and departed at the end of the week. She later was so worried about what had happened to me that she called the stake president in my area personally and asked if the mssionaries had been by to see me. Little did I know she would become a lifelong "big sister" that I never had. I joined the Church and we have been friends ever since. I have never regretted joining the church and feeling the true love of Jesus Christ in my life knowing he lives and is my personal Savior.

How I live my faith

My life has been one calling after another appropriate to the time in my life. Each building my testimony and my faith. I am a teacher and leader. I live my faith each day from when I wake to the time I go to sleep. My family was raised in the Church, went on missions, and now have families of their own. It is the rod that guides my life and solidifies all into a family unit. It is the creed by which I treat all that I come upon in my daily life.
