Hi I'm Allison

I'm the middle child in a family of 5 kids, now trying to raise a family of my own in the gospel. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Growing up, I wasn't really taught the gospel at home but went to church most of my life. My parents were active on and off so when I was in my late teens, I had the option to decide for myself what I wanted to do. As a wife and a mom of two crazy boys in my early 30's, I'm really grateful to have the gospel in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because, I love feeling the Spirit of God in my life everyday. I can't deny the feelings I have felt and the knowledge I have received that lets me know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ know me and love me. I know that They have a plan for me and are aware of the things going on in my life. Being a Mormon helps me keep perspective on what is important in life and why we are here. It helps me to know that I am never alone in my struggles and guides me to know what is best for me and my family.

How I live my faith

I love to serve in the Church! I currently work with the women in my ward in doing their Visiting Teaching, a program that allows women in the Church watch out for and care for each other. I try hard to show my faith by being honest and truthful with others, and by being a good example for those around me, especially my family. I enjoy helping others in any way that I can, whether they need help getting a ride to a doctor appointment, a babysitter or some cheering up. By helping and serving others, I know that it blesses my life as well as theirs.
