Hi I'm Rosalie

I love Music, play basketball and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Rosalie. I love Music. Country music mostly but I love just about any kind. I'm currently learning guitar. I also like to play sports. Mainly basketball and softball. I love my friends and family. My friends keep me grounded and they are there for me when I've had a bad day. They mean the world to me. My family, they help me Choose The Right and strengthen my testimony. I'm so grateful for them. And I have God to thank for this beautiful life I have.

Why I am a Mormon

I remember in middle school, I had a friend who was Christian. She would bring her Bible to school and read it when she was feeling sad. She would also talk about how having God in her life saves her from all the bad things that happen around her. Now, I had only really gone to church twice per year, but she told me that I should start going. So I asked my parents if we could start going to church. About a week later was when the Elders knocked on our door. My dad was raised in a Mormon home when he was little, but later became inactive. So he had talked with the Elders and decided to go to church that sunday. I wasn't very pleased to here that we were going to a Mormon church, because I had no idea what "Mormons" were. The first time we went, I really didn't like it. My parents were telling me more about it and I thought that some of the beliefs were rediculous. We didn't go to second and third hour the first few times we went, but when we did I, again, thought it was rediculous. How could there be modern prophets? Why can't I drink soda or coffee? Jesus came to America? It didn't make sense to me. So I questioned and questioned. I prayed about it and God gave me answers through the scriptures, my parents, church leaders and friends. I started to gain a testimony. My sister and I went to girls camp that year. There was a testimony night when everyone would say their testimonys. I was the last one to get up and say mine. I remember standing up there crying

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day of my life. I pray every night. I don't always read my scriptures as often as I should, but I'm trying to make it every night. I love to teach my friends about my faith. I invite them to church events and they always have fun. I don't really go to seminary, but I know I should, and I try to when I can.
