Hi I'm Eric

I am a Construction Project Manager, Husband, Father, Coach, and competitive athlete. I Run. I Jump. I Lift. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Project Manager and Building Information Modeling Specialist for a Construction Company. I spend much of my time chasing my 4 active and adventurous children and energetic wife. I coach track, football, and volleyball. I enjoy playing all sports, and I continue the compete in both Track and Olympic Weightlifting. Winter brings the opportunity to snow ski, and Summer means road trips, camping, fishing, waterskiing, scuba diving, and other outdoor activities with my family. My wife and children continue to inspire me to try new things, and I even find myself pursuing the likes of art, photography, guitar, and ballroom dancing. There are so many great things to do - but so few hours in the day!

Why I am a Mormon

This journey we call life has great adventures and challenges, and I need all the help I can get to stay balanced, avoid pitfalls, and become the best I can be. The Gospel of Jesus Christ provides me the tools and guidence I need in my life to be be successful in all aspects of life, and provides an anchor on which I can rely. Raising teenagers has also made me more aware of the eroding standards and negative influences of the world, and now more than ever the family needs a solid foundation. Knowing that Heavenly Father loves me, and has a plan for for me and my family provides a unique perspective that life continues beyond death, and that this is just the beginning. Because of Christ's sacrifice, I can overcome my weaknesses and mistakes, and also will have the opportunity to be with my wife, children, brothers, sisters, parents, and all my family for eternity. Life is about progress, and striving to move forward - following God's plan is the key to a positive direction in all I do!

How I live my faith

I am passionate about many things, and love to share my knoweldge and enthusiam with those around me, and well as the next generation. I enjoy coaching youth sports, and love the excitement that kids bring to practice, and for their big hearts. By giving them confidence in a sports, I hope that all the young athletes I work with are motivated to do more and be more in all aspects of life. Just like coaching, I get to share my experiences and teach the youth on Sundays, and hope and pray that they catch the vision that through hard work and following Christ that they can achieve and overcome all things. I work to stay involved in the lives of my children, encourage them to serve others, develop all their talents, and challenge them to push themselves and improve each day. Spending time as a family, and discussing spiritual matters has also drawn us all closer together. By following current teachings about staying out of debt, living within our means, being prepared, and maintaining a healthy and fit lifestyle has been a great blessing for me and my family. Life is a grand adventure, but it is not always easy - I am able to experience the best things of this world and to reach my full potential by keeping my life based on faith, honesty, dedication, love, sharing talents, service, and charity.
